#Coffee on Day after #NationCoffeeDay #latteart #homebarista | I totally forgot yesterday was NationCoffeeDay, and was busy at work, didn’t go out and had some Coffee Deal. Oh well, I had myself covered at home. Maybe next time. | http://flic.kr/p/nUozv1
Baseball team in #Okinawa #Japan #travel #omd | Japan is one of the country that kids are very serious in their high school life playing baseball as teams. They do wear their team suit and go training, maybe everyday after school.
I was in Naha, Okinawa, Japan, and it was around 3~4pm in the afternoon. These kids running or on bike from their school cross the bridge to do baseball at the park across the bridge. | http://flic.kr/p/e8BBf7
New body and old lens #Sony #A7 with #Contax G45 | Contax G system is one my long time invested system, It is a great compact RF system, and top quality at its time, which is about 15 years ago. I haven’t been able to use it much the last few years due to lack of film.
But the new A7 system bring the old lens back to life. | http://flic.kr/p/obALaR
#Coffee shop tour: Grinder in Balconi Coffee Company (@BalconiCoffee) #photography #Westla | Being going to Balconi coffee for quite sometime, it’s always one of the coffee shop I like.
This grinder they have, they use it only for the Syphon coffee. I am very surprise to see it here in US. It is actually a Taiwanese brand flying eagle(飛鷹牌), people may argue that it is a knockoff of the Kalita Nice Cut, but hey it is the best you can get less than $100.
Not many coffee place offer Syphon coffee, most of them offer espresso/specialty. Syphon setup cost more and take more time, but I really like the result out of it, especially when doing it right. You will have taste with more body but still retain the freshness.
So if you want to taste syphon coffee, Balconi coffee is the place. On the other hand, Syphon is not the only brew they offer, their espresso/cappuccino are great as well.
Balconi currently serving Four Barrel coffee, and one of the process they do the same as Four Barrel is to let customer smell the bean before making coffee (pour over and syphon only) I think it is a good experience to pass on, especially when fresh coffee is served. | http://flic.kr/p/oEU21v
